Master Alloys

Inconel 713C

Inconel 713C is a gamma-prime strengthened nickel-base casting superalloy with no deliberate cobalt addition, which keeps the material cost down while retaining good creep strength to about 900 degrees Celsius. Aluminium and titanium form the primary gamma-prime phase, chromium provides oxidation resistance, and niobium and molybdenum contribute carbide and solid-solution strengthening. It is supplied as cast master alloy bar for remelting and as net-shape cast rod for investment casting of blades and vanes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Inconel 713C?

Inconel 713C (Alloy 713C, UNS N07713, K418, YB/T 5248) is a master alloys grade. What forms of Inconel 713C do you supply?

ROBAN supplies Inconel 713C as master alloy bar, as-cast, vacuum induction melted, master alloy ingot and button, horizontally vacuum cast bar, remelted casting rod for investment casting, cut to the length you need and packed for remelting.

Do you supply material certificates for Inconel 713C?

Yes. Every order ships with a mill test report covering the actual heat analysis of the melt, together with the heat number and the melt route. 3.2 documentation is available where the contract requires it.

What is the lead time for Inconel 713C?

Master alloy is made to order rather than held in stock. The usual lead time is 20 to 40 working days depending on the grade, the melt route and the quantity. Send us your specification for a firm date.

Can you supply Inconel 713C in a specific size?

Yes. State the diameter, the length and the condition you need. Bar is normally supplied as-cast and cut to your length, and ingot is supplied as button or cube to match your melting equipment.
